STIHL Timbersports World Championship with Jacques Lemans

The world’s best timbersports athletes competed at the STIHL TIMBERSPORTS World Championship in Prague these days. With Brayden Meyer once again an Australian won this top-notch event. The athlete from Down Under was able to put the American Cassidy Sheer and the New Zealander Shane Jordan in 2nd and 3rd place in an extremely exciting finish.

The partner Jacques Lemans

Traditionally the time was measured again by Jacques Lemans, the official timing partner of the STIHL TIMBERSPORTS World Championship. The international watch company from Austria, for many years a loyal partner of these major events, was again the official timekeeper and equipment supplier on site and was prominently featured in all decisions.

„We have been partner of the STIHL Timbersports series for quite a while and we have seen lots of really fantastic competitions. But it has never been as exciting as it was this year, it was really unique! “ Alfred Riedl, CEO and owner of Jacques Lemans explains happily and continues “These competitions are not only an incredible spectator magnet on site, but the live images of the spectacle itself, which are transmitted via Eurosport throughout the world, attract millions of people to the TV sets. We are proud of this long-standing, successful partnership."

Year after year

Next year, the STIHL TIMBERSPORTS World Championships will take place in Sweden and Jacques Lemans, as official timing partner, will of course be back at this major event.
